A person may satisfy the NDIS access requirements regardless of whether their impairment came about through birth, disease, injury or accident. This includes impairments that come about from cancer and may be physical, intellectual, cognitive, neurological, visual, hearing or psychosocial.

Nursing Bears provide Registered Nurses (RN) who are experts and have higher-level qualifications in such fields as haematology, cancer care, thrombosis/bleeding, iron deficiency/haemochromatosis. As a rough guide, expect to pay anything to upward of $100/hour for an RN to visit on a weekend. If you have funding, you can use it to offset these costs.
